Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA.
• Active MA State License is Required to Start the Assignment.
• One year of Physical Therapist experience is required. New graduates are acceptable only with Level II clinical experience rather than Level I observation.
• Experience in long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation settings is required.
• BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• Ability to perform standardized assessments, wound care, therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, ambulation training, and use of assistive devices as part of treatment planning and documentation.
• Ability to supervise and support PT assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students.
• Preferred: familiarity with electronic medical record documentation systems and experience documenting regulatory-required minutes and outcomes.

• Shift Type: 8 hour days, 35 GWW.
• Weekend Requirement: None.
• Assignment Duration: 13 Week travel assignment.
