About the Role POLA Marketing is seeking a talented Video Editor / Colorist to join our creative team. This role is focused on post- production, transforming professionally captured footage into polished, cinematic content that helps brands stand out. You’ll work on a variety of commercial, branded, documentary, and social media projects for regional and national clients. If you’re passionate about storytelling through editing, obsessed with color, and enjoy putting the finishing touches on great work, we’d love to meet you. Responsibilities Edit commercial, branded, documentary, and social media video content from raw footage through final delivery. Perform professional color correction and cinematic color grading using DaVinci Resolve . Mix and enhance dialogue, music, and sound effects for polished final audio. Create titles, graphics, and simple visual effects when needed. Organize media, maintain project files, and manage efficient post- production workflows. Collaborate with producers, creative directors, and clients to implement revisions and feedback. Export and deliver content across multiple formats and platforms while maintaining quality standards. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Help maintain consistency in editing style, pacing, and visual quality across all client work. Stay current with industry trends, editing techniques, and post- production technology. Qualifications 3+ years of professional video editing experience. Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve . Strong understanding of color correction, cinematic color grading, and finishing workflows. Excellent storytelling, pacing, and visual composition skills. Experience with audio editing, cleanup, and sound design. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to accept feedback, collaborate with a creative team, and work independently when needed. A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating professional editing and color grading experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a marketing agency, production company, or creative studio. Knowledge of Fusion or Adobe After Effects for motion graphics. Experience working with RED, Blackmagic, Sony, Canon, or similar cinema camera footage. Familiarity with Blackmagic Cloud and collaborative DaVinci Resolve workflows.
