Training and Development Project Manager

Introduction to the jobAs a Training and Development Solution Manager for Manufacturing Services, you will coordinate the end to end delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Learning and Knowledge Management solutions within specified timelines. You will develop Learning & Knowledge Management solution deployment and adoption plans and monitor progress by leading meetings and initiating meaningful conversations with cross-functional teams to influence and ensure key deliverables are on track. You will apply advanced project management and instructional design skills to manage the training teams’ project deliverables and timelines, monitor competency performance, and support the continuous improvement of the team’s training programs.Role and responsibilitiesBuild and maintain a network of stakeholders; effectively manage stakeholder expectations.Conduct learning needs analyses.Create and maintain project documents and detailed project plans including milestones, tasks, deliverables, dependencies, risks/opportunities, and lessons learned.Notify the Training Manager of any discrepancies in the day-to-day execution of projects.Manage employee competence assessment program, including gap assessments and gap closure plans.Assist in the management of organizational development programs for San Diego Factory, Cymer Factory, and Korea Factory, Including but not limited to competency improvement initiatives, onboarding, cross-training, etc.Analyze business requirements and create reports and learning solution proposals to meet stakeholder needs.Represent the Training and Development team in cross-sector project teams and meetings.Interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning and Logistics, Operational Excellence, and Learning & Knowledge Management stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.Perform other duties as assigned to support the success and effectiveness of the Training and Development team.Job description subject to change at any time.Education and experienceBachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent experience required5-+ years direct work experience requiredProject Management experience requiredExcel proficiency with data entry, formulas/functions, data visualization, pivot tables Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to establish training programs and classes, surveys, dashboard reports, and other functions to manage a training organization preferredProficiency with a variety of computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, LMS, SharePoint, and scheduling applications) requiredExperience working in organizational and/or technical training environment preferredExperience working in the semiconductor, manufacturing, or technical industries desiredSkillsAbility to execute project management tasks in a timely manner and escalate as necessary to meet business needsProven ability to lead teams and initiatives with direct and indirect authorityAbility to analyze data and provide recommendations based upon findingsAbility to influence/negotiate through formal and informal networksAnalytical and project management skillsAbility to manage complex situations with diverse requirements with good judgmentProficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programsExcellent writing and strong presentation skillsAbility learn and apply new information or skills; Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documentsExcellent organizational and time management skillsProactive risk mitigation and problem-solvingStrong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalismAbility to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracyProven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlinesWork independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervisionDemonstrate open, clear, concise and professional verbal and written communication; Ability to build rapport with and influence stakeholders from craftspeople to senior executivesOther informationThis position is located on-site in San Diego, CaliforniaIt requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:$82,875-124,313Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
