Housekeeping AssociateThe Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility. This position ensures all areas are cleaned, organized, and properly maintained to create a safe and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and customers.Work HoursMonday-Thursday 11:00 a.m.-7:30 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.Daily Cleaning TasksClean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floorsVacuum carpeted areas and mop hard surface floorsDust furniture, fixtures, and equipmentEmpty trash receptacles and replace linersClean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrorsWipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and handrailsComplete assigned tasks within designated timeframesMaintain consistent quality standards for all cleaning activitiesFollow all safety protocols and proceduresDemonstrate professional behavior and positive attitudeMaintain confidentiality and respect for facility propertyGeneral MaintenanceRestock supplies in restrooms and common areasReport maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisorMaintain cleaning supply inventory and equipmentPerform periodic deep cleaning tasks as assignedSet up and break down meeting rooms and event spaces as neededSpecialized CleaningClean kitchen and break room areas, including appliances and countertopsMaintain lobby and reception areas to company standardsPerform seasonal cleaning tasks such as washing walls and cleaning light fixturesHandle spill cleanup and emergency cleaning situationsRequirementsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 40 poundsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periodsManual dexterity to operate cleaning equipmentAbility to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary
