We are seeking a Bar manager to join our team. This is not entry-level. You must have prior experience in a bar/restaurant environment. Some of your responsibilities will be to hire, train, terminate, schedule, manage inventory, handle customer relations, enforce discipline, coordinate with the kitchen, and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead, train, schedule, and motivate servers, bartenders, hosts, and other front-of-house employees.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, hospitality, food presentation, and beverage service.
• Handle guest concerns and resolve service issues professionally and promptly.
• Create and manage employee schedules based on business needs and labor budgets.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of restaurant, bar, hospitality, or food-and-beverage management experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and bar operations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Over 50 years of history remain at The Vine, a restaurant and bar just off of I-90 in North East. Though it has changed names (formerly Dave’s Place, Bullwinkle’s, etc.) and ownership over several decades, some elements remain the same: A fun, lively atmosphere with good food and great libations.
