Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join our team in Weatherford, TX. The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of the organization, providing exceptional patient care while performing high-quality specimen collection and processing. This role requires strong phlebotomy expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will have experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood specimen collection through venipuncture and capillary techniques following established procedures.
• Accurately prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
• Verify patient demographics, obtain required signatures, and ensure specimen labels are correct and applied in the patient's presence.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to specimen collection and processing.
• Adhere to all safety, compliance, and quality assurance standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service while creating a professional, comfortable, and trustworthy experience for patients.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and support process excellence initiatives.
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Promote a positive image of the organization to patients, clients, employees, and the community.
• Travel between patient service centers and client locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred (required in certain states, where applicable).

Experience

• 1-3 years of recent phlebotomy experience required.
• Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collection required.
• Previous experience in a Patient Service Center (PSC) environment preferred.
• Customer service experience in a healthcare, retail, or service environment strongly preferred.
• Keyboarding and data entry experience required.
