Summary
A luxury residential builder is seeking a Construction leader to lead quality control and construction standards across multiple high-end residential projects. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring consistency, craftsmanship, and accountability from early construction through final delivery.
The ideal candidate brings strong custom residential experience and can work across project teams to identify issues early, improve field processes, and deliver a consistently high-quality finished product.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain quality control standards across active projects
Conduct milestone-based site inspections from foundation through final completion
Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to identify and resolve construction and quality issues early
Develop QC plans, inspection checklists, SOPs, and standardized field processes
Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for constructability and compliance
Drive first-pass inspections and reduce punch-list items and rework
Monitor subcontractor workmanship and adherence to project requirements
Lead pre-drywall, pre-finish, and final quality reviews
Track deficiencies, root causes, corrective actions, and overall quality trends
Support building inspections, testing, documentation, and project closeout
Requirements
5+ years of construction management, field leadership, or quality control experience
Strong background in high-end custom or luxury residential construction
Experience overseeing multiple projects, teams, or field operations
Ability to read and interpret complete architectural, structural, and MEP plans
Strong understanding of residential construction methods, sequencing, and building codes
Proven ability to establish and enforce QC processes and construction standards
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and construction management technology
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
