Activities AssistantWe have a current opening for an Activities Assistant for the Skilled Nursing Facility at our Portola Campus. This is a full-time position, five, eight-hour days per week. This position will require working days, and some nights.Wage Scale: $19-$21Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Retirement, and morePosition Summary:The primary function of the Activities Assistant is to assist in the planning, implementation and carrying out of activities of the SNF/Long Term Care Residents.Position Qualifications:· High School diploma or equivalent· Can be a Certified Nurse Aid, but not required· Have a sincere interest in working with the elderly or dependent adults· Prior patient care in extended care facilities is a plus· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required· Computer skills and knowledge are required· CPR certified (within 6 mos. of hire)Primary Responsibilities:· To provide weekend and holiday coverage in Activities, and relief coverage in the absence of the Activity Coordinator.
