Registered Nurse - Cardiac

Role Overview This position is for a Registered Nurse in a cardiac unit, dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN assesses patients, develops individualized care plans, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs. Responsibilities include documentation, safety compliance, and participating in research activities. The role involves mentoring new staff, supporting continuing education, and demonstrating clinical and leadership skills based on experience and clinical ladder level. Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate, clinical care to cardiac patients. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and update care plans accordingly. Document patient information and communicate effectively with team members. Ensure safety protocols and organizational policies are followed. Contribute to research and ongoing professional development. Maintain required certifications and participate in mandatory training. Qualifications & Skills Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred. Valid RN license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred: Minimum 6 months of nursing experience and leadership skills. Additional Details The role involves physical activity, including walking and standing. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications, with a pay range of $38.66 - $51.91 per hour.
