Accounting Associate

The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas, including payables and receivables. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting and finance functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
• Support the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support as needed
• Stay current on accounting principles and regulations, and recommend process improvements as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
• 1 - 2 years' experience in accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent organization and time management
• Attention to detail and accuracy
