Cook
Join our team and play a key role in creating a positive dining experience for our senior residents. As a Cook, you'll prepare and serve meals with care, ensuring quality, safety, and presentation standards are met while promoting a welcoming and efficient environment.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and serve delicious, nutritious meals from our daily menus
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation
- Support residents' dietary needs and preferences, including therapeutic diets
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high service standards
- Assist with inventory, cost control, and kitchen cleanliness
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as a line cook or food service worker (senior living or healthcare a plus)
- Understanding of food safety, portion control, and basic nutrition
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
- A positive attitude and genuine respect for older adults
- Food Handler's or ServeSafe certification preferred
