Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' medical history and current condition to prepare for cardiac catheterization procedures.


• Prepare specialized equipment and monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.


• Maintain a safe environment, adhering to universal precautions and utilizing personal protective equipment.


• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians and technicians, to support smooth procedures.


• Provide patient education and support before, during, and after cardiac cath lab procedures.


• Adhere to professional advancement program requirements and mentor others to promote professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technology Program, or Paramedic Program.


• 1-2 years of Respiratory Therapy or Radiology Technical experience or relevant paramedic or nursing experience.


• BLS certification required; relevant Radiology Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, or Paramedic licensure required.


• Cardiac specialty experience preferred.


• EPIC experience required.


• Previous charge experience mandatory with community hospital experience preferred.
