Sterile Processing Technician

Shifts: 4 shifts total (2 in each department)


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician for a travel contract assignment in Green Bay, WI. This role involves working across multiple sterile processing sites within the same building, focusing on decontamination, assembly, and sterilization. The candidate will work independently in a Level II Trauma Center and primarily handle tasks related to maintaining and sterilizing surgical instruments.

Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician

• Process and maintain proper care of all surgical instruments and equipment, scopes, and powered surgical instruments
• Inspect, evaluate, clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments
• Maintain quality control and documentation records of the sterilization process
• Distribute designated supplies and equipment to all areas of the medical center
• Work with a variety of instruments across service lines including orthopedics, ophthalmology, neuro, and more
• Utilize steam sterilizers, Vpro units, and medivators
• Float between decontamination, assembly, and sterilization departments

Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician

• Minimum 1.5 years of Sterile Processing experience
• CRCST or CBSPD certification
• Proficient in using Steris SPM instrument tracking software
