Mechanical AssemblerExpress Employment Professionals is excited to hire a motivated Mechanical Assembler for a full time permanent position in Logan, UT!Healthy work-life balance!Weekly payResponsibilities for the Mechanical Assembler:Perform assigned assembly functions, using hand or power toolsOperate overhead cranes or forklift as required to perform jobRead, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, work instructions and procedures, and maintain level of work performance in accordance with ASTM standards and/or job specificationsEnsure all assembly processes are correctly completed as specifiedPerforms work while standing (usually), bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or occasionally in high positionsLifts and moves more than 25 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionallyMaintain a safe and clean working environmentQualification for the Mechanical Assembler:A year of experience in mechanical assembly, using hand toolsAbility to read and understanding engineering drawings, as well as basic reading/writing, math and measuring skillsHigh school diploma or G.E.DProven attention to detail, solid work ethic, and positive work attendance historyTwo or more years' experience with assembly of precision mechanical systemsVocational education in electronics assembly, reading engineering drawings, or other related fieldBasic computer skills and knowledgeAbility to stand for long periods of time and walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch as neededSpecific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusAbility to regularly lift and move more than 25 pounds and up to 75 pounds occasionallyGreat communication skillsCompensation and Hours:Monday- Friday7:00-4:00 pm$18.00/hr - $20/hourBenefits include but not limited to:Health insurance, dental, vision, life, LTDGenerous 401(k) match that you are vested in immediately.Great PTO program
