Senior QA Profile

We deliver fast, we reach millions of users, and quality can no longer rely on the reflex of each individual: we need someone whose job it is. QA is already in place with us: we are now looking for the senior profile who will come to reinforce and structure it to scale it.

You will work directly with the CTO, of whom you will be the right hand on quality issues. This is not an execution test position: it is a referent role, with real autonomy to set the strategy, tool, and grow the team in skills.

It is up to you to find the right balance between quality demand and the ability to deliver fast, without becoming the bottleneck.

Missions You will be encouraged to experiment, take advantage of modern tools (including AI) and go fast, without ever sacrificing quality on projects that must scale.

Your missions at Edusign Set the strategy and standards

• Design and carry the testing strategy, aligned with the product roadmap

• Write and make the Definition of Done, for shared and explicit standards

• Disseminate quality best practices to product and engineering squads, while increasing velocity

Tool and automate

• Choose and implement the testing tooling (frameworks, environments, datasets)

• Design, develop and maintain automated tests and regression suites, relying on AI tools to gain speed

• Integrate tests into our CI/CD pipelines to secure each production release

Pilot quality on a daily basis

• Manage the lifecycle of anomalies: detection, documentation, prioritization, follow-up until resolution

• Produce quality metrics, analyze trends and identify areas at risk

• Arbitrate the acceptable risk level to streamline releases rather than slow them down

Grow the team

• Accompany the existing team and disseminate testing practices to all squads

• Be the CTO’s go-to person on all quality issues

• You: the senior QA profile who comes to reinforce and structure the existing team, reporting to the CTO and with a real carte blanche

Profile Sought

Profile sought: the must-have

You have:

• At least 5 years of experience in QA / software testing, including experience on an autonomous perimeter

• A true mastery of test automation (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Jest… at least one of them)

• Aptitude with scripting (JavaScript / TypeScript, Python or equivalent)

• Experience with integration of tests in a CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins…)

• An Agile culture and a true understanding of product and business issues

You are:

• Autonomous and structuring, you know how to create order where there is none yet

• Rigorous and pedagogical

• Good communicator, both in writing and orally

• Comfortable with technical English

• But most importantly: you are passionate about quality !
