We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing business in South Carolina. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can bring stability, accuracy, and strong financial oversight in a hands-on environment. The person in this role will manage core bookkeeping functions, help maintain organized financial records, and contribute to smooth payroll and billing processes for a team of approximately 20 employees.
Responsibilities:• Manage the full bookkeeping cycle, including maintaining general ledger accuracy and supporting month-end financial activities.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while ensuring timely posting and proper documentation.
• Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies to keep financial records current and accurate.
• Prepare and issue billing documents, including AIA billing, in accordance with customer and project requirements.
• Assist with payroll-related recordkeeping to help ensure employees are paid correctly and on schedule.
• Maintain QuickBooks records, update financial data consistently, and generate reports for operational review.
• Organize accounting documentation and strengthen day-to-day financial procedures in a changing business environment.• Demonstrated experience in full charge bookkeeping with responsibility for end-to-end accounting tasks.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and confidence using it for daily financial management and reporting.
• Hands-on experience handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Strong background in bank reconciliations and resolving account discrepancies.
• Familiarity with AIA billing and related invoicing practices is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
