About the Position

Our client is seeking Class A CDL Flatbed Drivers for an on-site position in Middlebury, Indiana. This role offers $28 per hour, first-shift scheduling, home-daily routes, and opportunities for optional overnight runs. Flatbed experience and the ability to operate a manual transmission are required.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $28 per hour
• Schedule: First shift
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Home daily with local and regional routes
• Optional overnight runs available
• Employment type: Direct hire

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery
• Freight: Flat aluminum stock and occasional coils
• Equipment: Flatbed and Conestoga trailers
• Trucks: 2026 Kenworth trucks with 10-speed manual transmissions
• Handling: Driver is responsible for securing freight with straps or chains; tarping is not required
• Local runs are approximately 150 miles

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
• Transport and deliver flatbed freight according to route requirements
• Secure freight properly using straps or chains
• Maintain a clean motor vehicle record
• Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Promote safe, reliable, and professional service

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Valid Class A CDL
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Flatbed driving experience
• Ability to operate flatbed and Conestoga equipment
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
