Full-Time Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Role: The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformities in patients with injuries or diseases. Responsibilities: Develops and revises treatment plans collaboratively with patients and families, providing education and discharge instructions. Collaborates with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment goals and discharge plans. Documents evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient education according to departmental protocols. Acts as a referral source for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards, maintains patient confidentiality, and adheres to safety protocols. Participates in professional development, mandatory training, and team meetings to support continual growth. Provides excellent customer service, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork, while fostering a positive environment. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Licenses: Physical Therapist license and BLS certification.
