Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support the Q-DAS business and SMA (Software Maintenance Agreement) contracts. This customer-facing role will focus initially on re-engaging customers whose maintenance agreements have lapsed, rebuilding customer relationships, and restoring SMA coverage. As customer engagement stabilizes, the role will expand into account growth and new business opportunities.

This opportunity combines customer retention, account management, and sales growth while developing knowledge of a specialized manufacturing software portfolio. You will own assigned accounts independently while collaborating with colleagues who support technical demonstrations, marketing activities, and customer engagement.

Job Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Manage assigned customer territories, accounts, and SMA or subscription renewals.
• Re-engage customers whose maintenance agreements have lapsed and rebuild trusted customer relationships.
• Maintain regular customer contact and respond promptly to customer needs and inquiries.
• Identify customer stakeholders and buyer personas to support effective account engagement.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate contract, renewal, and follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate customer and account information in CRM systems.
• Identify opportunities within assigned accounts and territories that can contribute to account growth.
• Support outbound lead-generation activities, including online prospecting, networking, and collaboration with Marketing on training events.
• Work closely with Q-DAS colleagues who support technical demonstrations and customer discussions.
• Take independent ownership of customer activity, sales stages, obstacles, and opportunities while participating in regular team collaboration.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability and motivation to learn a specialized, technical manufacturing software portfolio and related customer applications.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong customer communication, organization, follow-through, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize activity across multiple accounts, and take ownership of results.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a CRM system.
• Technology-sector experience.
• Experience with complex technology used in manufacturing.
• Experience with outbound prospecting or customer re-engagement.

Team & Work Approach

This position supports the Q-DAS business within a collaborative team environment. You will have individual ownership of assigned accounts while working with colleagues on technical demonstrations, marketing activities, and customer opportunities. Weekly team meetings provide a forum to review customer contacts, sales stages, obstacles, and potential wins.

This is a fully remote U.S.-based position with flexibility across the United States. The role is primarily computer-based and customer-facing, with independent ownership of accounts balanced by regular virtual collaboration with the team.
