An established food manufacturing operation is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead food safety and quality programs within a production facility.
This role will oversee regulatory compliance ( FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, GMPs ), manage QA staff, lead audits, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the QA team
- Oversee food safety and quality programs
- Partner with production and operations teams
- Manage audits and regulatory inspections
- Drive root cause analysis and CAPA initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Food Science or related field
- 2+ years of QA leadership in food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and audits
- Certifications (HACCP, PCQI) a plus
