Unit Information: Number of Beds - 16, Number of Staff - 25, Type of staff: Day Shift 1 chg, 3-4 rn, 1 pca, Night Shift 1 chg, 3 rn, 1 pca, Patient Ratios maximum 6:1, Type of equipment standard EMR meditech, Unit currently consists of Med/Surg pts and Covid + pts.

Typical hiring profile: Skill Set: Must have acute med/surg experience 1+ years within the last year, Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time. Preferred or nice to have: Acute med/surg experience 2+ years w/in the last year, Would prefer RN's w/ortho or neuro-surgery background. Med/Surg/Telemetry background would suffice.

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Care of med/surg pts, Standard nursing skills: IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance; medication administration; communication with all members of care team; documentation in EHR

Weekends and On call(if any): Normally rotating weekends, however as needed for travel RNs
