The Town of Hudson is a full-service home-rule municipality serving approximately 1,640 residents across nearly 2.3 square mileswith a 2026 budget of $17.7 million and a team of 34 FTEs. THE HUDSON POLICE DEPARTMENT Established in 2019, the Hudson Police Department is a municipal law enforcement agency protecting the Town of Hudson, Colorado. The Department operates with a 2026 budget of $2.6 million and responded to nearly 10,000 calls for service in 2025 - reflecting a 150% increase in call volume over the past four years. The Department is staffed by 11 sworn officers and 3 unsworn staff, with additional support from 2 part-time victim advocates and a reserve chaplain.
