Key Responsibilities

• Hours : Monday – Friday | 8-hour shifts (few weeks work)
• Install HVAC racking for a commercial building.
• Connect preconfigured ductwork.
• Measure, cut, and weld sheet metal according to specifications, blueprints, and directions.
• Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to required dimensions.
• Connect pieces or secure seams using riveting, rolling, soldering, or steel screws.
• Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering.
• Carry out wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment.

Additional Job Duties

• Collaborate with the subcontractor to ensure proper setup and installation.
• Communicate effectively with the team to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience with commercial duct installation is required.
• Comfortable working all phases of residential construction, including underground, rough, and trim.
• Own all necessary hand and power tools for the trade and bring them daily.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
