Our client, manufacturing industry leader, is seeking an Assembly Technician I to join their team. As an Assembly Technician I, you will be part of the production support team, supporting high-quality electronic and mechanical product assembly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Assembly Technician I Location: North Kingstown, RI Pay Range: $19-$21/hr Shift: 2nd Shift What's the Job? Assemble furniture or product components according to instructions or diagrams. Use basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, drills, wrenches) safely and effectively. Inspect parts for defects and ensure proper fit and finish. Follow production schedules and meet daily assembly goals. Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipping or storage. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. What's Needed? High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to support team efforts and adapt to a manufacturing environment What's in it for me?
