Dental Hygiene Instructor, Adjunct

As a Dental Hygiene instructor for a certified Great Place to Work, assists with providing leadership in managing and implementing a comprehensive registered dental hygienist program in support of University, campus, or department. Enables an environment that fosters creativity, responsiveness, and self-responsibility. Responsible for supporting the delivery of the didactic curriculum, faculty and student mentorship, and student academic and disciplinary advisement. EDUCATION: * Must be a graduate from a US Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited dental hygiene program. * Master's or higher degree from an accredited college or university which includes course work in higher general education and/or administration required. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: * Current California Registered Dental Hygienist license. * Current American Heart Association CPR Certification (BLS) KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE: * Must have a minimum of five (5) years of dental hygiene clinical experience. * Minimum three (3) years prior experience in academic leadership. * Minimum three to five year's prior experience in teaching in higher education. * Knowledge in technological support and delivery of educational programs and services. * Leadership knowledge in the program field to cultivate a learner-centered environment and to foster excellence.
