Adjunct Instructor – HVAC [Wise County Campus] Weatherford College occasionally has openings for adjunct instructors. This department is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach courses in HVAC, providing instruction and mentoring students across various learning modalities. Responsibilities Teach HVAC courses in face‑to‑face, hybrid, online/Zoom, or dual credit formats. Develop and deliver instruction that enables students to achieve the specific learning outcomes for the assigned courses. Provide timely feedback, respond to student communications, and submit final grades on schedule. Maintain an engaging and effective learning environment for all students. Attend adjunct faculty meetings and complete required training. Mitigate student learning outcomes and assess courses at departmental and institutional levels. Qualifications Minimum of five years of experience in HVAC installation, service, and repair. EPA certification and a valid license, with copies submitted with application. Associate degree with 2‑5 years of work experience; Bachelor’s degree with 6‑10 years; Master’s degree with 11‑15 years; or Doctorate with 16+ years of work experience. Valid Southern Association of Colleges and Schools faculty credential or equivalent teaching competence. Ability to instruct in multiple modalities and communicate effectively with students and faculty. Commitment to maintaining familiarity with College policies and procedures.
