Radiology - MRI Tech Profession: MRI Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT (MR) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: ARRT (MR) Description:Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role.The staff includes 4 full-time, 3 PRN, and 1 cross-trainer staff member.On day shift, there are typically 2 technologists scheduled, or 1 technologist and 1 technician assistant.The overnight shift is currently not staffed.On weekends, scheduling is Saturday: 07:00-19:30.Patient volume averages more than 20 patients daily, with overnights expecting to add more than 10 patients nightly.The type of equipment utilized includes GE 450 W MR.The electronic medical record system used is Meditech, with GE PACS for imaging.Standard MRI procedures and safety protocols are performed in this role.The ideal candidate should be friendly, compassionate, and adhere to safety protocols.A strong ability to communicate effectively is also required.Call currently is expected, but once travelers are in place, call will only be needed on Sunday nights.Staff members enjoy the fast-paced environment and supportive management.This location is known for a variety of outdoor activities, including golf courses, bike trails, and historic parks.There is a fall festival that offers a variety of activities for the community. #J-18808-Ljbffr
