Green Acres of Allendale, a welcoming Assisted Living Community, is seeking a dependable Part-Time Cook to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys preparing home-style meals, working in a team environment, and making a difference in the lives of seniors every day. Available Positions Position 1 - Day Shift / Evening- 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM
- 32-36 hours per week
- Includes every 3rd weekend (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Every other holiday rotation
- Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to planned menus
- Assist with food preparation and meal service
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining area
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures
- Comply with all state and federal health and sanitation regulations
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent meal service
- Help create a welcoming dining experience for residents
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Dependable with excellent attention to detail
- Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
- Previous cooking or food service experience is preferred but not required
- A genuine passion for serving seniors
