Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to read a tape measure to the nearest 1/8 inch

Experience Requirements

• Previous machine operation, production, or warehouse experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and experience using tools and gauges
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Job Duties

• Operate and monitor production machinery to maintain efficient production flow
• Assist the Converting Machine Operator with machine setup and operation
• Load and unload bulk rolls onto production equipment
• Bag, package, and inspect finished products according to specifications
• Perform quality inspections on raw materials and finished products
• Operate L-Sealer and Heat Tunnel equipment as required
• Stretch wrap and band finished product pallets
• Monitor production and quickly address issues that impact quality or efficiency
• Follow ISO standards, QMS requirements, and company safety procedures
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements
• Assist in other production areas as needed

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.

As a Production Machine Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
