Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (LTCA) needed for a travel temporary assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Start date is 11/02/2026 for a 13-week contract. Responsibilities
- Deliver occupation-focused therapy services to LTCA residents as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Conduct skilled evaluations, establish treatment goals, and implement individualized plans to address ADLs, upper-extremity function, cognition, and mobility.
- Document resident progress, update treatment plans, and communicate findings through the facility’s charting system.
- Lead individual and small-group therapy sessions; provide training on activities of daily living, adaptive equipment, and compensatory strategies.
- Assist residents with transfers and mobility needs; emphasize safety, fall prevention, and appropriate assistive devices.
- Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, speech therapy, social work, and other staff to optimize resident outcomes and support discharge planning.

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure
- Experience in long-term care or LTCA settings preferred
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a skilled nursing facility environment and adhere to facility policies
- Availability to work the 08:00–16:30 shift and meet guaranteed hours
