Overview This position is responsible for leading production staff within the Form Department. The role includes assigning daily work goals, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending ideas for continuous improvement. This leader will be accountable for driving performance, ensuring safety, and holding team members responsible for meeting company and departmental goals. Hours Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Mandated overtime may be required based on business needs. Responsibilities Champion UA’s culture by modeling the behaviors we expect from all team members Ensure all Form Department staff perform their duties safely and efficiently Review, approve, and process timekeeping and vacation requests; follow up daily to reinforce expectations Communicate clearly with team members to ensure they understand and are committed to daily goals Ensure the team has the materials, tools, and training needed to meet production targets Provide hands-on support on the floor—answering questions, removing obstacles, and driving momentum Collaborate with other shift supervisors to ensure smooth transitions and consistent communication Document and address disciplinary issues in accordance with UA’s progressive discipline policy Drive production efficiency and support key plant metrics such as turnaround time (TAT) and on-time delivery Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred 6–7 years of production leadership experience, preferably in metal forming or fabrication Proficiency with overhead cranes, tape measures, hand tools, and air tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated alignment with UA’s 12 Expected Behaviors: 100% Responsible, Trustworthy, Team Player, Clear Communicator, Empathy, Humility, Emotional Self-Control, Resolves Conflict Directly, Positive Attitude, Respects Others, Problem Solver, and Agile Benefits In addition to competitive starting wages, we offer a robust compensation and benefits package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Generous RTO and vacation policy 401(k) with company match Bonus opportunities Paid training Company-paid holidays Performance-based bonuses Additional Information This is an onsite position located in Union, OH Occasional travel may be required (approximately 10%) A background check will be conducted if selected for the role United Alloy is an equal opportunity employer.
