# BartenderAl Solito Posto - Las Vegas, NV 89145Start Date 02/19/2025## Description**Job Summary:** The Bartender will be responsible to prepare, serve and be able to mix and match ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with guests’ needs and expectations. The primary purpose of the Bartender is to provide friendly, attentive and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests. **Essential Job Functions:*** Maintain positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages to guests and servers in a friendly and efficient manner* Take beverage orders from guests* Accept guest payments and process credit card charges* Use POS systems for transactions* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes* Peel, slice, and pit fruit for garnishing drinks* Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies* Balance the cash register at the start and close of each shift* Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages* Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including floors, counters, sinks, utensils, and shelves* Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies* Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages## Qualifications**Preferred Qualifications:*** Excellent knowledge of serving techniques, standard cocktails and fine wines* Excellent knowledge of beer, wine, liquor and common drink recipes* Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks* Possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills* Handle a fast-paced work environment* Outstanding guest services skills* Be able to communicate clearly and effectively (verbal & written)* Positive attitude and excellent communication skills* Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a cash register and POS system and register* Professional presentation and positive attitude* Sheriff’s card and/or required work cards**Physical Requirements:*** Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly* Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. In some instances, the entire shift* Intermittent periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer* Ability to lift at least but not limited to 50 pounds and if more must be with assistance* Flexibility in the wrist to scoop, twist, push, pull, lift, and bend* Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)* Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)* Ability to move quickly turning from left to right or right to left* Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping* Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F**Preferred Education and Experience:*** High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)* Minimum 21 years of age* Minimum 2 years food and beverage service and/or related food and beverage experienceLev Group was founded in 2002 as a vehicle to inspire, create, develop and operate world class experiences for food & beverage concepts in the Restaurant Industry.
