Procurement Coordinator

Position Overview We're looking for a Purchasing Specialist to handle our purchasing operations. You'll work through everything from purchase requests through order closeout, working with vendors to source quality materials and services while keeping documentation organized and compliant with government contracting rules. What You Will Do Buying & Vendor Work Process purchase orders from start to finish Find, evaluate, and build relationships with suppliers Get and compare quotes; keep pricing decisions documented Track vendor performance on delivery, quality, and responsiveness Handle any issues with late or defective orders—troubleshoot and find alternative vendors when needed Keep internal teams updated on order status Compliance & Records Apply contracting rules to purchase orders Keep organized, audit-ready files for every purchase Document pricing decisions and sourcing choices Be ready for audits and compliance checks Finding the Right Vendors Research and identify qualified suppliers Evaluate vendors on price, delivery, capability, and reliability Build and manage a preferred vendor list Requirements 4+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or buyer experience High school diploma minimum Experience with ERP systems (Unanet, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) Strong Excel skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
