Job Description

Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on moderately complex components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment. Responsible for testing, modifying, reworking, and repairing electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies. Work from moderately complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches. Repair and rebuild pumps, both water and vacuum, and possess knowledge of environmental test chambers, water towers, heat exchangers, and air conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on complex components and equipment.
• Test, modify, rework, and repair electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies.
• Interpret wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, and engineering specifications.
• Repair and rebuild water and vacuum pumps.
• Work on environmental test chambers, water towers, heat exchangers, and air conditioning.

• Experience with running conduit and rewiring motors (single and three phase)
• Ability to work around 480v

Work Environment

Join a dedicated team of four maintenance technicians, with one currently on leave. The work involves older equipment, providing good exposure to troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of High Ridge, MO.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in High Ridge,MO.
