Key Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants:

·       Providing daily routine nursing care and services in accordance with the residents’ assessment and care plan such as:

o   Assisting with activity of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing and feeding

o   Monitor vital signs and report concerns to nurse

o   Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

o   Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment

·       Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift

·       Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to maintain current certification, such as scheduled orientation programs and activities, facility in-service training programs, etc.

Qualifications & Skills:

·       Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification  

·       Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to patient needs
