Dental Hygienist

Wedgewood Square Dental is looking for a Full-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR certification. Preferred Experience Open to new graduates or experienced hygienists. Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital X-rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care. Clinical needs as required by the office. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the office, doctor, or Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods sitting and standing. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in‑person) periodically throughout the year. Result of a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, with the test arranged during the pre‑employment process. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
