Receiving Clerk

This is not an official job description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform:

Duties:

• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Unload trucks with use of forklift or power jack.
• Follow company guidelines when using power equipment.
• Have a basic knowledge of Word and Excel; be able to navigate programs; print invoices.
• DEX vendor invoices for incoming product (involves plugging DEX unit into computer jack to view and print invoices).
• Exercise discretion while handling confidential information.
• Verify item count received with invoices; i.e. number of cases, etc.
• Handle damaged product and product returns.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.

Training:

Training will be provided at store level.

Physical Demands:

• Bending
• Stooping
• Able to stock 50 cases per hour
• Able to pull loaded stock truck
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Additional Requirements Internal Candidates:

• Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
