Material Handling Specialist

Position: Glass Unloader/Loader Location: 10757 N. Dual St. Baton Rouge, LA 70814 Schedule: Monday through Friday - Full-Time, 40/hours Pay: Starting at $13.00/hour (Depending on Experience) with 90 Day Evaluation & Pay Rate Change Department: Loading Summary Glaz-Tech is looking to fill the position of a loader. We are looking for a responsible, adaptable and self‑driven individual looking to grow in the manufacturing industry. The job functions include handling, packaging and loading/unloading glass panes that will be produced into dual pane windows, shower doors, table tops, mirrors, etc. Responsibilities may include: Utilize the appropriate handling equipment to move panes and/or pallets Organizing window panes onto transportation or storage racks. Loading completed product onto glass trucks for delivery. Requirements: Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/8” Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day. Ability to complete simple computer task.
