DevSecOps Software Engineer

DevSecOps Software Engineer – Argon ST Location: Fairfax, VA (required onsite). Company: The Boeing Company. The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. Responsibilities Display mastery of industry best practices in classified and unclassified server builds, containerization, software build, software artifact management, version control strategies, virtualization, application deployment, configuration, and integration. Identify, investigate, deploy, integrate, maintain, upgrade and support tools used in our development and deployment processes. Perform automation and auditing of software builds and unit, functional, and acceptance tests. Automate server builds and deployments across multiple networks. Efficiently execute a wide range of day‑to‑day operations including user/permissions management, code delivery, team consults, server and database administration. Analyze complex workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and leverage industry standard tools and technologies to drive cost, schedule and risk reduction. Effectively collaborate with stakeholders including IT, cybersecurity, program management, and engineering organizations. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance post‑start 3+ years of experience developing software with Python, Java, JavaScript, or C/C++ 3+ years of experience with development in Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments 2+ years of experience with virtualization tools (VMware) 2+ years of experience with build automation systems – Gradle and Maven preferred Preferred Qualifications P3 – Bachelor of Science degree (engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science) and 5+ years of related work experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years related work experience, or 13+ years related experience P4 – Bachelor of Science degree (engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science) and 9+ years of related work experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 13+ years related work experience, or 17+ years related experience Active TS/SCI clearance Experience in the full software development lifecycle (design, implementation, integration, test, delivery) Minimum 3 years of experience with continuous integration server administration – Jenkins preferred Minimum 2 years of experience with administering self‑hosted, on‑prem software development infrastructure – Atlassian/GitLab suite preferred Minimum 2 years of experience with artifact management server administration – Artifactory preferred Minimum 2 years of experience with server configuration tools (Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Puppet/Chef, RHEL kickstart, etc.) Minimum 2 years of experience with Bash Shell scripting Security+ certification Additional Information Clearance: Must obtain U.S. Top Secret/SCI clearance post‑start. Travel: Less than 10%. Union: Not union‑represented. Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required. Relocation: Available based on candidate eligibility. Pay Range – Experienced: $126,900 – $155,100; Senior: $154,800 – $189,200.
