Position Overview Dental Hygienist – Smile Studio of Spring Lake | Spring Lake, NJ We are a solo-doctor, private dental practice committed to delivering the highest level of clinical excellence, patient care, and customer service. Our practice environment is calm, refined, and relationship-driven. We are seeking an exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist who is professional, enthusiastic, dependable, and above all, honest and trustworthy. This role is ideal for a motivated, positive, detail-oriented clinical professional who takes pride in delivering white-glove patient care and enjoys being part of a close-knit, high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Perform thorough prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and supportive periodontal maintenance Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments, charting, and oral cancer screenings Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos, and document findings accurately in Dentrix Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and preventive care in a warm, unhurried manner Collaborate closely with Dr. Scheddin to support seamless clinical flow and co-diagnosis Answer phones and assist with scheduling, managing appointments with professionalism and warmth Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, infection control, and patient confidentiality Contribute to a calm, refined, and welcoming environment that reflects the Smile Studio standard Qualifications Active New Jersey RDH license in good standing required 2+ years of clinical hygiene experience preferred Experience with Dentrix strongly preferred Exceptional chairside manner, patient communication, and interpersonal skills Comfortable answering phones and scheduling patients in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Honest, ethical, and trustworthy with patient care and clinical information Comfortable working independently in a solo-doctor private practice and as part of a close-knit team Compensation & Benefits Competitive rate of pay Bonus opportunity Supportive, respectful, quality-focused work environment Schedule Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM If you value integrity, clinical excellence, and delivering a refined, patient-centered experience in a high-end private practice, we would love to hear from you.
