Intuitive Machines is seeking an in Intern to join our team in Greenbelt, MD. Currently enrolled as a rising senior (entering final year) in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Software, or related discipline) Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required for NASA contractor site access) Must be available to work on-site in Greenbelt, Maryland for the duration of the internship Technical Skills Experience with programming (MATLAB preferred; Simulink/Simscape is a bonus) Experience with experimental data collection and analysis Understanding of robotics/kinematics Demonstrated ability to solve problems, work independently, and take initiative Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks with minimal supervision Strong written and verbal communication skills Creating robot simulations for contact tasks based on mathematical modeling Designing experiments and analyze data to validate/improve robot simulations Developing methodologies for quick-turn-around robot controller tuning EEOC Intuitive Machines is an Equal Opportunity employer.
