This role reports to VP, Data, AI and Digital organization located at our headquarters in Columbia, MD.The Digital Strategy Advisor partners with business and technology leaders to shape, prioritize, and govern a portfolio of digital, data, and AI initiatives. This role combines rigorous analysis, process and best practice creation, and strong stakeholder facilitation/collaboration with a specialized focus on AI strategy, data strategy, initiative valuation, and operating model evolution. Initial focus will be on Grace financial process areas but will expand as digital transformation scales.You will help the new Grace Data, AI, and Digital organization create the initial enterprise-wide vision and strategy for these areas in close collaboration with Grace business and functional stakeholders.Responsibilities (1 of 2)Digital / AI Initiative Cataloging & ValuationAssist with building and creation of a process for maintaining a comprehensive inventory of digital, data, analytics, and AI initiatives across GraceAlign digital / AI intake and assessment frameworks with existing Grace IT operating model, ensuring business cases and value measurement approaches (financial and non-financial), fit with digital / AI initiativesProduce executive-ready dashboards and summaries to assist in management of digital portfolio (demand, value/health, costs, etc)Development of 3-Year AI Strategy & RoadmapProvide key inputs to 3‑year AI strategy aligned to business objectives / operational prioritiesIdentify and document AI use cases across functions to establish portfolio and prioritization processesTranslate strategy elements into a clear roadmap inputs: initiatives, milestones, dependencies, required platforms/data investments, and change management needsGenerate executive communications on strategy, timing, key decision points, and benefitsResponsibilities (2 of 2)Finance Data ModernizationWork closely with finance organization to identify, analyze, and document business process improvement opportunities / requirements and design data and analytics solutions to drive valueDefine self-service reporting patterns and trains end users on data product usageSupports the broader program manager with status reporting, milestone tracking, and dependency identification across the finance data workstreamAlignment of Data & Analytics Supply / Demand to IT Operating Model & Business StrategiesAssess current operating model (including intake-to-delivery processes) for data/analytics/AI work and identify improvements (e.g. roles and responsibilities, data domain ownership/governance, prioritization processes)Evaluation and selection of appropriate delivery organization model (e.g. hub-and-spoke)Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, Engineering, or related field2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Strategy Analyst, Financial Analyst, or similar roleDemonstrated experience with strategic thinking, structured problem solving / hypothesis-driven analysis and translating findings into visions / strategiesDemonstrated experience assisting with building roadmaps, supporting portfolio governance, and developing business cases to support execution of digital visions / strategiesExperience working with data, analytics, or AI initiatives, especially use case intake, data readiness, governance, and value trackingExperience in matrixed environments with senior stakeholders across business and IT#LI -TC1 Preferred QualificationsExperience with manufacturing industries (especially chemicals)Experience with corporate finance processes for manufacturingExposure to / experience with implementing data governance programs.Familiarity with responsible AI, model risk, privacy, and security considerationsConsulting background or strong executive storytelling experienceBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceLife Insurance and DisabilityGrace Wellness ProgramFlexible Workplace with maximum overlap with the core hoursRetirement Plans 401(k) Company MatchPaid Vacation and HolidaysParental LeaveTuition ReimbursementCompany Donation Match ProgramGrace is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
