Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Unit Specific Details Unit Size: 30 beds Patient Population: Primarily MICU and SICU with some Neuro patients. Non-trauma ICU. All traumas stabilized and transferred out. Lines/Drains/Devices: Arterial lines, Central Lines, PICC lines, Ports. Airway: Vents, Trachs, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow, Nasal Cannulas. Drips: Heparin. Critical drips with routine titration. Ratios 1:1-3* Provider Coverage: Intensivist on staff during the day. Telemedicine intensivist for nights. Night shift utilizes hospitalist for intubations and escalation of care. Ancillary Staff: If census above 15 patients, unit can receive 1 patient care tech for support. *All listed ratios are subject to change based on staffing availability at the facility. Ratios are never guaranteed but are what the unit typically attempts to achieve with normalized staffing.
