Primary Location: United States (US) - North Carolina - Kernersville

As a Warehouse/Logistics Technician with John Deere in Kernersville, NC, you will:

Perform warehouse related operations in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:

• Perform all duties safely and continuously promote safety improvements.

• Follow all safety, quality, and Lean guidelines.

• Support all 5S activities.

• Support all Kaizen related activities, Kaizen Meetings, and Small Work Teams.

• Responsible for all aspects of the warehousing operations for the assigned area.

• Build kits to specified schedules and configurations.

• Deliver kits to specified locations.

• Maintain inventory of material required to build kits.

• Deliver production materials to specified locations in the factory as required.

• Unload, verify, and put away the shipments received.

• Ensure that outbound shipments are processed with proper documentation.

• Operate overhead cranes and fork trucks.

• Update daily documentation, as required.

• Assist and support other team members.

• Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must haveat least oneof the following:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

• National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)

• At least3 yearsof manufacturing work experience

• At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.

• Ability and willingness to workany shiftand potential overtime (including weekends).
