Located in Lawton, OK, this pharmacist position offers an engaging opportunity to support diabetes pharmacy clinics serving the local community. This one-year contract role includes potential extensions and involves working primarily day shifts with some floating to nearby locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily prescription orders from providers efficiently and accurately
- Fill and dispense new prescriptions and refills in compliance with regulations
- Provide thorough patient counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
- Supervise and oversee pharmacy support personnel to maintain quality service
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Valid state pharmacy license from any state
- Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred, with knowledge in patient counseling and prescription processing
Schedule:
- 8-hour day shifts, allowing for a balanced workday
- Some float required to nearby sites including Carnegie and Anadarko
This role is ideal for a pharmacist looking to make a meaningful impact in diabetes care within a community setting.
