Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for inpatient children in a 12‑hour shift hospitalist program (24 weeks per year). Manage patients with prematurity, respiratory distress, infectious diseases, congenital heart disease, and other anomalies. Perform procedures such as circumcisions, umbilical central lines, lumbar punctures, frenullectomies, intubations, and emergent needle decompression of pneumothorax. Educate advanced practice providers, medical students, and family medicine residents. Qualifications Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Pediatrics. Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Wisconsin.
