Time: 8:15 to 1:45 Monday - Thursday

Orientation: 6/22 (8:15 - 2:30)

Salary: $119.32 - $146.44 / day

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Hold a valid Registered Behavior Technician certification or eligibility to complete RBT examination.
2. Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
3. Experience as a RBT and/or behavior support staff in public school district
4. Experience in ABA programming, assessment, and interventions
5. Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
6. Demonstrates effective problem-solving, communications, organization, planning, record-keeping, and human relations skills
7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists the Supervisor - Behavioral Services with behavior management of students
Delivers on-going, daily consultation and support to all teachers in meeting student goals in the Individualized Education Program plans (IEP)
Provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and implements behavior support strategies in small groups, whole group, and 1:1 settings across school-based, community-based, worksite, and recreational/educational settings
Consults with educational personnel and provides input regarding student progress to improve learning of skills and/or social development
Implements specialized behavior approaches to assist students with improving his/her communication skills; social skills; play skills; motor skills; self-help, skills; school readiness skills; and self-management skills
Assists in overseeing data collection and assessment of student progress; maintainsand organizes data tracking records/notes, and implements program modifications as assigned by the Supervisor- Behavioral Services.
