Floating:o Within region and scope of practiceo Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable? Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital)? If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock) About Facility: 10628 Park Rd. Charlotte, NC 28210? How many licensed beds? 337? Trauma Designation? No? Teaching Hospital? No? Chest Pain Center? Yes? Stroke Center? Yes? Radius rule: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit? Unit Information:o Beds: 30? Average Census: 26o Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of ICU expo Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes? Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:o Can see any diagnosis except Cardiac Surgical - Sepsis, ARDS, GI Bleeds, DKA, Cardiac Arrest, Withdrawal, Renal Failure, etc.? Patient Ratios:o RN: 1:1-2 (Day & Night)? Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance:o RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS? Skills required:o RN: Critical care gtts experience – insulin, vasopressors, sedation, management of invasive lines (ART/CVP), Cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, ventilator management, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, etc.? Support within the Department:o CNA (Ratios – dependent on census/staffing) – patient care (ADLs/Vitals/Nutrition/Blood sugar checks) and mobilityo No Receptionist/HUCo Charge nurseo Clinical Supervisor daily to act as Resource for teamo Phlebotomy, 24/7o IV/VAT Team, 24/7o Pharmacist dedicated to unito Case Manager x 2 per unito MedSurg Clinical Nurse Specialisto RT 24/7 – will perform Nebulizer treatmentso Nurse Educatoro Hospitalist, 24/7o Intensivist until 12am and then virtual/on call critical care MDo No remote Tele Monitoring - Unit Clerk, Charge/Clinical Supervisor and Staff are responsible to read and post every shift? Technology/Equipment:o EMR: EPICo IV Pump: Alariso Med dispensing: Omnicello Monitors: Phillipso Rover Communicationo Hoyer lift; Gait Belts; Activity closet for confused patients
