BARISTA

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic experienced Barista who enjoys working with people and being part of a team. Prior barista experience is required. Baristas are responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing quality coffee, espresso drinks, and other menu items in a clean and efficient environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS system.
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards.
• Prepare and serve pastries and other designated food items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked coffee station.
• Complete opening, shift, and closing responsibilities.
• Restock cups, lids, syrups, milk, coffee, and other supplies as needed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, work areas, and customer areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements.
• Communicate with coworkers and management to keep service running smoothly.
• Assist teammates during busy periods and be willing to help wherever needed.
• Provide prompt, professional service and work to ensure every customer has a positive experience.

Qualifications:

• Prior barista experience required.
• Experience preparing espresso-based beverages and operating commercial coffee equipment.
• Friendly, positive, and customer-service focused.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to follow recipes, procedures, and company standards consistently.
• Comfortable handling money and using a POS system.
• Willing to learn and receptive to coaching and feedback.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with the position.
