Grill Cook / Line Cook – Chef’s Table SA TX

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Chef’s Table SA TX is seeking an experienced and dependable Grill Cook / Line Cook to join our culinary team.

We are a Turkish Mediterranean restaurant specializing in authentic grilled meats, kebabs, and freshly prepared dishes. We are looking for a skilled cook who takes pride in food quality, consistency, and presentation while thriving in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate has experience working with commercial grills, preparing meats, following recipes, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

• Prepare and cook Turkish Mediterranean dishes, including kebabs, lamb chops, chicken, beef, and other grilled specialties.
• Operate commercial grills, ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards to ensure consistency.
• Prepare ingredients, including cutting, marinating, portioning, and assembling dishes.
• Monitor cooking temperatures and ensure all meats are cooked properly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen throughout each shift.
• Follow all food handling, storage, and food safety regulations.
• Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner services while maintaining food quality.
• Assist with inventory, food preparation, and kitchen opening and closing duties.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation.

• Previous experience as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, or Restaurant Cook is required .
• Experience with charcoal grilling, kebabs, or Mediterranean cuisine is highly preferred.
• Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat preparation and cooking temperatures.
• Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment confidently and safely.
• Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn our recipes and maintain Chef’s Table’s quality standards.
• Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts as needed.
